Wei-Wei Huang, MD, Ph.D.

Board-Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon

Dr. Huang obtained her MD and Ph.D. degrees at Tulane University in New Orleans. Her studies of medical research at Harvard Medical School and Tulane University were supported by an National Institute of Health research fellowship. She was then trained in internal medicine (internship) and dermatology (residency) at Washington University in St. Louis. After being on faculty at Washington University and St. Louis VA hospital she worked at Mercy Clinic for eight years before founding Vivo Dermatology and Skin Surgery. She is certified in American Board of Dermatology as a dermatologist and a Mohs surgeon and a fellow of American Academy of Dermatology, a member of American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Huang is extremely passionate in patient care and scientific research. She has published numerous articles in highly regarded journals and is actively involved in clinical studies to develop new drugs in dermatology. Outside of her work, she is a devoted mom with two boys, she enjoys traveling around the world and spending time with her family.

Sarah Sandoval, NP

Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Sarah's love for caring started at an early age inspired by her grandmother's compassion and long nursing career. After graduating from Rockhurst University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing she worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital for 5 years. During this time she earned her Masters degree from Maryville University as Family Nurse Practitioner.

As a Nurse Practitioner she has worked in Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Family Practice, and Dermatology. She has a particular passion for pediatrics, acne management, and skin cancer prevention and treatment. She stays busy outside of work with her husband and two precious little boys.

Rebecca Sabharwal, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Rebecca was born and raised in St. Louis. She started her career in medicine as a registered nurse after graduating from Missouri Baptist School of Nursing in 1998 and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Webster University in 2006.  In her 13-year nursing career she has worked in the operating room and as a surgical floor nurse. Her love for learning and compassion for patients inspired her to enter the graduate program at St. Louis University, earning her Physician Assistant Masters of Medical Science degree in 2011.

She is accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA ), she is a member of Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants (MOAPA), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Prior to joining Dermatology she has enjoyed working for 10 years as a Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and with Interventional Radiology at St. Louis University Hospital. In her free time she enjoys running, and spending time with her husband, children, family, and friends.
